Disappointment
So I did not get the job. I am quite sure that my age was the reason behind. Of course they did not say so because it would have been illegal.
In my case I am raking the leaves...

I'm sorry to hear you did not get the job.
Age discrimination, f.ck them.
But I'm sure there are jobs where experience and mobility, wisdom and patience that all comes with age are advantages.
I'm bordering 40 soon and I don't have much options, either...
I work whenever I have work.
That often means that I'm busy as hell for 3 weeks and then nothing comes around for 3 months.
