REACH

REACH comes from the words Registration, Evaluation, and Authorisation of CHemical substances.

This relatively new European Union Agency, ECHA or European Chemicals Agency has started with full speed on the first of June in Helsinki. In Europe the new legistlation concerning all chemicals is now in the phase when all existing chemicals have to be pre-registered in order for them to be on the European market after 1.12.2008
